“Making Chiba Beautiful with Green Tea.”

We conducted an environmental maintenance activity, including trash collection, at Inbanuma Lake in Chiba Prefecture, a popular spot known for its beautiful sunsets and sunrises.

Inbanuma Lake, an irreplaceable resource for the people of Chiba, serves as a water source for household, industrial, and agricultural use, as well as a fishing ground and a place of relaxation. However, the proliferation of the invasive species Ludwigia grandiflora has become a pressing issue.

By inviting public participants, we carried out the removal of the invasive species Ludwigia grandiflora and environmental maintenance activities in the surrounding area. These efforts aimed to conserve biodiversity and return to a sustainable, circular society.
