Now Accepting Applications GifuWe will conduct a learning session about the World Agricultural Heritage site, “Ayu of the Clear Nagara River,” along with an experience of releasing juvenile ayu fish into the river.
This initiative supports activities to preserve the beautiful environment of Gifu, the Land of Clear Streams.
The water in the midstream of the Nagara River has been selected as one of the “100 Best Waters of Japan” and is loved by many people.
Join us in learning about the traditional Nagara River system and taking part in activities to protect the beautiful environment of Gifu, the Land of Clear Streams!
Terms of Application
・In case of heavy rain, environmental learning and craft activities will be held at the visitor center.
・Participation is available for individuals aged junior high school and above.
・The maximum number of participants are set. If the number of applicants is over the capacity, the participants will be selected by lottery. The details of the activities will be announced to the winners.
・The event may be canceled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
・Participants are responsible for their own transportation expenses to and from the meeting point.
