Now Accepting Applications Miyagi“Environmental Conservation Activity at Izunuma”
Would you like to think about environmental conservation at Izunuma-Uchinuma, a Ramsar Wetland in Miyagi Prefecture?
On the day of the event, we will have an environmental study session led by an expert, and participants will wear special gear to walk in the marsh. You’ll observe aquatic life such as fish and insects and take part in planting native species like the Japanese iris (Kakitsubata).
Let’s learn about and reflect on the rich natural environment of Miyagi while experiencing nature firsthand!
Terms of Application
・Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to join this activity.
・The maximum number of participants are set. If the number of applicants is over the capacity, the participants will be selected by lottery. The details of the activities will be announced to the winners.
・The event may be canceled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
・Participants are responsible for their own transportation expenses to and from the meeting point.
