“Making Miyagi Beautiful with Green Tea.”
activity reports Miyagi“Izunuma and Uchinuma,” a well-known destination for migratory waterfowl such as greater white-fronted geese and swans, is registered under the Ramsar Convention. However, in recent years, it has faced challenges, including water quality deterioration and the decline of native fish species due to the presence of black bass.
To raise awareness about environmental conservation, we conducted activities such as observing aquatic life, reed cutting, and planting native water irises.
On the day of the event, about 45 participants—including foundation staff, general volunteers, and our company employees—worked together in these conservation efforts, reinforcing the importance of environmental engagement.
