Eradication Activity for the Invasive Species Rudbeckia laciniata

Would you like to join the effort to protect the beautiful nature and rare plant species of Aso-Kuju National Park by participating in the eradication of the invasive Rudbeckia laciniata?

n the Ramsar-designated wetlands of Tadehara Marsh in Kokonoe Town, Oita Prefecture, the highly invasive Rudbeckia laciniata (cutleaf coneflower) poses a serious threat to native plants and is causing significant concerns for the ecosystem.

The eradication effort requires the persistent task of manually removing the plants along with their roots.

We sincerely invite your participation to help preserve this valuable natural environment for future generations.
