“Hado Misaki Coastline Cleanup Activity”

At Hado Misaki in Karatsu City, huge amounts of marine debris drifts ashore daily due to natural conditions such as the Tsushima Current, topography, and seasonal winds.
Once waste enters the ocean, it continues to drift due to wind, rain, and waves. Over time, even a single piece of debris degrades and breaks up into small fragments, eventually becoming microplastics that are extremely difficult to remove. To tackle this issue, we will conduct a cleanup activity at Hado Misaki. To protect this beautiful natural environment, we need your help.
