Approximately 1,200 years ago, in the 7th year of the Kōnin era (816 AD), the sacred site of Shingon Esoteric Buddhism, Mount Kōya, was established by Kōbō Daishi (Kūkai).
We will be carrying out maintenance work on the ancient “Nyonin-michi” trail, one of the pilgrimage routes to Mount Kōya, by adding soil and improving its condition.
We warmly invite you to lend your support to help preserve this World Heritage Site.

Terms of Application

・Participation is available for individuals aged junior high school and above.
・The maximum number of participants are set. If the number of applicants is over the capacity, the participants will be selected by lottery. The details of the activities will be announced to the winners.
・The event may be canceled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
・Participants are responsible for their own transportation expenses to and from the meeting point.
