Ohtani will be featured in advertisements around the Tokyo Dome!
From Friday, March 14 to Wednesday, March 19, when the MLB™ TOKYO SERIES will be held, advertising media in the Tokyo Dome City will be displaying commercials! Commercials and key visuals featuring Shohei Ohtani will be posted in nine locations around the Tokyo Dome to further boost the excitement of the MLB™ TOKYO SERIES.

New “Shohei Otani Bottles,” including the first 2L “Large Shohei Ohtani Bottle,” are now available in the U.S. and Japan.
The “Shohei Otani Bottle,” which was released in limited quantities last July to great acclaim, is now available in the U.S. and Japan! Each of the three bottles, “Oi Ocha Green Tea,” “Oi Ocha Houjicha,” and “Oi Ocha Genmaicha,” has a different Shohei Otani design, and if you buy them all, you can complete his batting sequence! Also for the first time, a 2L large bottle will be available. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the “Shohei Otani bottles” will be used for the “Green Tea for Good” social contribution project launched with Ohtani last year.

Campaign to receive an original clear file commemorating the opening of the MLB™ TOKYO SERIES!
To commemorate the launch of the “Shohei Ohtani bottle”, purchasers of participating “Oi Ocha” products featuring Shohei Ohtani at convenience stores and mass merchandisers will receive an original clear file of Ohtani (six types in total) as a free gift on a first-come, first-served basis. (The number of prizes is limited. The criteria for the giveaway differs depending on the store that carries the target product. Please contact the retailer for details.)

The partnership originated from Shohei Ohtani’s admiration for “Oi Ocha” expanded to sign a comprehensive contract with MLB and the Dodgers with Ohtani at the core! We will further our promotion activities not only in Japan but in the US as well.

Leaf-based products featuring Ohtani in Japanese traditional clothing released
A limited number of 12 types of leaf-based convenience products including tea bags featuring a new visual of Ohtani in Japanese traditional clothing are released. As part of the social contribution project “Green Tea for Good” that we are working on with Ohtani, a portion of the sales of these products will be used for conservation activities in Japan and overseas.

A new tradition of gifting tea to someone special, “Green Tea for Family”, launches. From September 23, “【Give the gift of tea to your loved ones】campaign”, sending the gift of tea and a message, starts. Life-sized cutout of Shohei Ohtani in Japanese traditional clothing appears in all 47 prefectures of the counry from October 1, ‘Japanese Tea Day’ established by ITO EN.

Oi Ocha and Shohei Ohtani launched a global social contribution project “Green Tea for Good” under the concpet of “Making the World Beautiful with Green Tea”. Starting in Otani’s home town, Iwate prefecture, the conservation activities are set to launch worldwide. “Shohei Otani Bottle” are now on sale in Japan and a portion of the sales will be used for “Green Tea for Good”.

Celebrate Shohei Ohtani’s 30th Birthday with 30 years’ worth of historical “Oi Ocha” bottles.
ITO EN released special visuals with 30 years’ worth of historical “Oi Ocha” bottles in celebration of Shohei Ohtani’s 30th Birthday. The visuals are displayed at 10 locations inside of stations of Ohtani’s hometown, Iwate prefecture. The visual includes a congratulatory message, “Hi, Ohtani san! Happy 30th Birthday. We have been and always will be on your side.”. With our gratitude to Ohtani who has loved drinking “Oi Ocha” for a long time.

Shohei's giant outdoor ad displayed in more than 85 locations around the world!
Starting with an outdoor ad at Morioka Sta. in Iwate Prefecture, Shohei’s hometown, on Fri., May 31, the ad will be shown in more than 82 locations in 12 prefectures in Japan and 6 locations worldwide, including New York, Los Angeles, South Korea, and Taiwan. At Shibuya and Nagoya stations, “Ohtani’s new haiku,” which became a buzz because of the ads, appears as giant columns.

To commemorate Ohtani’s appointment as “Oi Ocha” Global Ambassador, from Monday, May 20, a promotion where 25 pairs of 50 people will win round-trip air tickets to LA, where Ohtani is playing, hotel accommodations (for three nights), and tickets to see a baseball game in LA will start.

Shohei's in-store POP! Limited clear files given away with "Oi Ocha" purchases
Starting on Monday, May 20, posters featuring Ohtani’s image will be displayed at “Oi Ocha” stores throughout Japan. A life-size cutout of Ohtani will also be displayed in the future. In addition, when four bottles of “Oi Ocha” are purchased in bulk at select stores, a limited clear file featuring Ohtani (two types in all) will be given away as a free gift on a first-come, first-served basis (the number of prizes is limited). ※This giveaway is only available in Japan.
